Krakow invites tourists from all over the world

Most foreign tourists come to Krakow from Germany, Great Britain, Italy, France, Spain and Ukraine. Usually, tourists visit Krakow because of the desire to see beautiful monuments, as well as rest and entertainment.

The attractions that await tourists primarily relate to the historic buildings of the city. The main attractions are the Wawel Castle in Kraków, the main square of the Old Town of Kraków, and the The Cloth Hall (polish: Sukiennice). Tourists sometimes also travel outside the city, visiting the Wieliczka Salt Mines, Auschwitz-Birkenau (Nazi concentration camp), Energylandia amusement park, Zakopane (a town located in the mountains) and Wadowice (birthplace of Pope John Paul II).

In addition to visiting the above-mentioned places, tourists appreciate local cuisine. First of all, dumplings and “Obwarzanki krakowskie”.

Tourists pay attention to how much Krakow offers at night. Everyone will find there many clubs and pubs open until the morning. Pub prices are moderate compared to other large European cities, so many people choose Krakow as a great opportunity for a stag or hen party.

Beautiful old town and the Wawel castle

What is most noticeable by tourists is the amazing atmosphere of the Old Town.
