Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Named Four Wheeler of the Year

The Trailhawk edition of the 2015 Jeep Cherokee is the 13th Jeep to take home the “Four Wheeler of the Year” trophy from Four Wheeler Magazine, with the Trailhawk version specifically designed for off-road excellence and weekend adventures. Available now at Bosak Motor Sales in Merrillville, the Cherokee Trailhawk has been popular among Indiana drivers since its debut, and the sales team were far from surprised to hear that the vehicle took home another trophy for the brand.

While it's clear from the award that the Trailhawk can get the job done, Jeep has made sure it has a bark to match its bite.

The aggressive look and feel of the Cherokee Trailhawk lets other drivers know that it really isn't like any other SUV on the road. Unique front and rear fascias add to the look while practical elements like the one-inch factory lift, skid plates, and red tow hooks remind the competition that features can be both practical and visually appealing.

The standard off-road package on the Cherokee Trailhawk gives it Jeep's coveted “Trail Rated” status and badging, letting potential drivers know that it excels at maneuverability, ground clearance, traction, articulation, and water fording. Unlike competing models that may look the part, the “Trail Rated” status makes it clear that this Cherokee is just as comfortable on-road as off.

Jeep brand's President and CEO, Mike Manley, had this to say about the award: “Winning the prestigious ‘Four Wheeler of the Year’ award reinforces the fact that the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is unquestionably the most capable mid-size SUV on the planet. We are thrilled the influential editors of Four Wheeler magazine recognized [the] Cherokee.”
