Protect your child from screens

When was the last time you saw a child playing in a backyard? It must have been some time ago. The reason for that is simple - an excessive amount of time spent by kids in front of the computer. How can this be fixed? The average Canadian child spends about eight hours in front of a computer screen or TV. The remaining 2/3 of the day have to be enough to learn, sleep, eat, play and develop. This is a relatively low amount of time, considering that school takes up about 6-7 hours a day and sleeping should take 8-9 hours.
