Basic building blocks of the body

Protein - it is one of the most important building blocks of the human body. It is thanks to it that we can function properly and develop muscles needed for movement.

Protein is the most important component of muscles, without which they could not work properly. It consists of smaller structures called amino acids, which by joining together with specific bonds form the whole protein. When the organism of a person exercising "gets hit", muscles get stretched, small tears or injuries. Later in the regeneration process they become bigger, stronger and more powerful - a very desirable feature among bodybuilders. When you do not provide enough protein in the diet, this process is disrupted, which can ruin the time spent training and the health of the athlete. Protein supplementation provides a solution to this problem.

Protein supplement - a basic dietary supplement

Protein supplements are dietary supplements that provide protein to the human body. They are a very convenient solution because you can add them virtually anywhere - to a shake, omelette or oatmeal.

There are many protein supplements on the market that differ from each other. The most popular include:

  • WPC - whey protein concentrate containing between 70-80% protein derived from milk. The rest is carbs and fats. It is obtained through micro and ultrafiltration. The downside of this protein is that people who are lactose intolerant may experience stomach discomfort
  • WPI - whey protein isolate - up to 90% protein obtained at low temperature
  • WPH - whey protein hydrolysate - 90-95% protein - the purest product on the market obtained by hydrolysis of peptide bonds.
  • The rest is less popular: micellar casein (very long absorbed), beef, egg and soy proteins).

Summary

Protein conditioner, contrary to the opinion of many, is not a serious supplement from the borderline of legal. It is a normal product that can be found literally everywhere. As with everything - if used in moderation and do not exceed the daily recommended protein intake everything will be as it should be - without any negative side effects.
